Background
Dr. Sukhen Narayana Shetty is a member of the Anesthesiology team as a consultant here at Health City Cayman Islands since 2018. Dr. Sukhen has extensive experience in a variety of surgical procedures and following through with the patient in intensive care.
He is passionate about anesthetic care to the entire spectrum of cardiac and general surgeries, including high-risk cases. He is proficient with invasive anesthetic techniques and monitoring and is extremely well-conversant with various ventilation modes and weaning strategies. He has been involved in the management of critically ill patients in multi-disciplinary Intensive Therapy Units. specializes in pediatric anesthesia.
Being a committed academician, Dr. Sukhen Shetty has publications in numerous eminent indexed national and international journals. He has presented papers at many national and international conferences and meetings, been actively updating his BLS, PALS, and ACLS training.
