Mr. Aniruddha Kayal was appointed as General Manager of Health City Cayman Islands in February 2020. In this role, Aniruddha is responsible for the management of non-medical administrative operations of the hospital.
Aniruddha joined Narayana Health in July 2007 as an Executive in the Administrative Department at Kolkata, India. He was responsible for managing Narayana Health’s telemedicine network of the entire eastern region of India.
Aniruddha progressed to Brahmananda Narayana Multispecialty Hospital, Jamshedpur, India, where he was instrumental in the commissioning of the hospital with the assigned project team. During his employment there, he was responsible from inception for the implementation of specific operational protocols and processes in the hospital. After successfully completing his tenure at Jamshedpur, he was promoted to Operational Head and held the responsibility for inpatients at Rabindranath Tagore International Institute of Cardiac Science, Kolkata (a 550 bed hospital and one of the flagship hospitals of Narayana Health Group). Subsequently, he transitioned in 2014 to Narayana Superspeciality Hospital, Howrah, which was to become the first NH oncology flagship hospital in Eastern India. As Head of Non-Medical Operations there, he played a pivotal role in setting up the hospital to realize new heights in the implementation of NH processes, but also setting benchmarks for others to follow. The hospital grew from a mere 75-bed unit to a 300-bed unit of excellence.
An alumnus of the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta (IIM-C), Aniruddha graduated in Tourism & Travel Management from Calcutta University and also holds post graduate degree from Sikkim Manipal University.
