Health City Camana Bay
This year will see the construction of our 70,000 square foot modern, state-of-the -art hospital at Camana Bay. Our US$100 million medical facility will include an advanced and comprehensive cancer care centre, a neonatal intensive care unit, an emergency pavilion and critical care unit, and a robust multispecialty program.
da Vinci Robotic Surgical System
Health City has invested in the da Vinci surgical system, giving our surgeons an advanced set of instruments to use in performing robotic-assisted minimally invasive surgery. The da Vinci system translates the surgeon’s hand movements at the console in real time, bending and rotating the instruments while performing the procedure. The tiny wristed instruments move like a human hand, but with a greater range of motion. The da Vinci vision system also delivers highly magnified, 3D high-definition views of the surgical area.
Cancer care and Radiotherapy
At Health City Camana Bay we are bringing the very latest in cancer care diagnostics and treatment to the Cayman Islands. Our services will feature an advanced oncology department which will include medical oncology, hemato-oncology, surgical oncology, and radiation oncology with a medical linear accelerator. We will be the first in the region to offer bone marrow transplantation and CAR-T Cell therapy. Our technology and services will mean we can provide effective, precise, and less invasive cancer treatments for our patients.
